Miracles Put On Hold
Also, it's apparently old news, but it's the first I've heard that stem cells were used to restore sight to man who was blind for 43 years. Because of the worldwide hold on stem cell research, I would hazard that this research has already fallen behind by more than 5 or 10 years. Millions will die each year that could have been saved. Millions will remain blind each year that could see. And 300 microscopic blastocysts will be discarded, rather than be used to help people. Brilliant.
